    Bunting is a lost art in this game. If Stubbs could learn to do it correctly he would raise his average by 30-40 pts.

    ugg...men on 2nd and 3rd 1 out and we can't get something. We need to improve on this or we will be watching baseball come Oct.

    Guy's on pace for 30 HRs -- not sure I want him bunting very frequently.

    Just showing he could do it could give him an advantage with the infield placement.

    Yeah, that's exactly why I'd prefer he learn to lay one down. I just don't want him doing it very often. I just hate taking away the opportunity for extra bases when it comes to someone with Stubbs' power. One every now and then, though, is fine; as you said, it would make the third baseman play even with the bag, which could help a few more ground balls find the outfield.
