Dayton's tied 1-1 in the tenth. Excellent pitching from Daniel Renken and Jason Braun. The RBI was a triple by Jaren Matthews.
Ryan LaMarre singled his first time up for Bakersfield, but was removed for a pinch-runner (Means).
Dayton lost in the tenth, 2-1, with Infante on the mound.
Carolina lost, 5-4, in spite of good relief from Freeman and Boxberger.
Fun game to watch. 15-7 final
Frazier was tossing between innings with Danny Ray. They were practicing throwing knuckleballs to each other. This is the same old song in so many ways. If the starter and pen could put one good game together on the same night these guys might win a game one day.
