I like the fix of the fix of the fix.
The Venezuelan Summer League started yesterday. The VSL Reds won their first game, 8-3. One kid to watch for is outfielder Jonniel Mier y Teran. He was one of the Reds most notable Latin American signings last year according to Baseball America. Mier y Teran is a 17-year old OFer from Maracay, Venezuela. He is listed at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds and throws/bats RH. In his first game, Mier y Teran went 1-for-3 with a triple, walk, and two RBI.
I miss Adam Dunn.
