    Another example of why I hate the running game in front of the big hitters. Run at the bottom of the order where the hitters actually need the help to get the runner around, but don't risk removing runners in front of the big boys.

    Whether he is wild or accurate, it is about impossible for EV to have a low pitch count...his stuff is that hard to hit.

    The running game has hurt the Reds so far this season, but I have no problem with Stubbs being aggressive at all times. And if the umps did their job, Stubbs is at second base there. Carrasco clearly flinched.

    I agree that Stubbs should be aggressive. He and Phillips should hit 5th or 6th.

    How long? How long will the Reds continue to put themselves in a hole in the first inning? Volquez simply is our fifth worst starter in that regard. It gets old pretty quick for me. Dusty must have the patience of Job.
