A split would be a huge accomplishment.

Re: The Reds have to lose to Philedelphia

I would have thought this thread was started before last year's series in Philly where they totally blew a few games late in awful fashion. It was as though they had to lose.

I LOVE this thread. We're gonna take 3 of 4. This has been the missing element. Who would have thought

I may be wrong but didn't Wood get in a pitching duel with Halladay last year?

I just want the Reds to play better than they did the last time they played the Phillies.

Haha! You even misspelled Philadelphia (just like Pittsburgh was misspelled in that thread).

Vance Worley? That's a made-up name if I've ever heard one.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Good news is that you can pretty much book a win on Wednesday.... I can't think of one instance where Halladay has pitched well against the Reds. We pretty much own that guy....
