He was in good enough shape to give it up to Pujols in the Wheaties commercial.

Cordero even admits he wasn't in good shape in 2010.

He got paid in Wheaties for that commercial. All he could he eat for one year. Wheaties lost some big bucks on that one.

All of Dusty's players would have run through a wall for him in 2010. Except for Cordero who would have bounced off a wall.

You would think Cordero would have gotten in shape with all that running he had to, backing up all those bases.

    Just curious.

Has anyone asked Votto and Bruce why they didn't make Valdez throw 2 strikes last night?

Or Baker why he didn't make them??

I don't think we would ever make Votto take 2 strikes in any situation, and not Bruce the way he was swinging, but you would expect they would have the common sense to do so in that situation.

Didn't Votto almost leave the yard? He hit the ball pretty well against Valdez.

Shame to waste a day like this by Cairo. He hasn't had a man on board all day, has he?
Rounding third and heading for home...

He had a runner on in the first and made an out.

Yep. Just a terrible approach to Valdez. I choose to blame Baker. He's the manager.
