Bats add RHP Chris Mobley to their roster in a trade with the Frisco RoughRiders. His stats were better with the Rangers AAA team than this Texas League team. No idea who was traded for him or if it was a cash deal.

BTW Bats lost 6-4.

Yonder continues his hitless streak. 0 for 5 tonight.

While you may disagree with a literal interpretation, TINSTAAPP serves as a caution that one should expect a surprisingly high fail rate among promising minor league pitchers.

I realize that. I just find it a poor saying to attempt to get that thought across. Because there ARE pitching prospects. They DO pan out. Picking nits I guess.

Even though 72 can't comment, I will "speculate" that he failed test #2. So that'll at least be a 100 days. Probably his career since he hasn't made it outta rookie ball...
