    Hmmmmmmm....

    As for "TINSTAAPP" Tony.....There Is No Such Thing As A Pitching Prospect. I disagree...but that's what it means.

    While you may disagree with a literal interpretation, TINSTAAPP serves as a caution that one should expect a surprisingly high fail rate among promising minor league pitchers.

    I realize that. I just find it a poor saying to attempt to get that thought across. Because there ARE pitching prospects. They DO pan out. Picking nits I guess.

    Even though 72 can't comment, I will "speculate" that he failed test #2. So that'll at least be a 100 days. Probably his career since he hasn't made it outta rookie ball...

    That isn't the rumor I heard. I will just leave it at that though.
