After yesterday's appearance, Thompson probably would be unavailable for the next three days. And I'm not sure I really want to see more of him at the major-league level right now, anyway.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

This was posted in the Sundeck. "RHP Chris Mobley (Louisville) acquired in trade with Texas in exchange for cash considerations." Does anyone know if this is correct or know anything about Mobley?

Horst wore #79 in Spring Training. I'm guessing that he will be given one of the vacant numbers in the fifties when he arrives with the Reds. (Either 52, 53, or 57.)

I can confirm DT is coming back to Carolina.

And I know Mobley. He played for the Mudcats for a few years when he was with the Marlins. Think of him of a poor-man' right-handed version of Danny Ray.

    Who takes Bailey's turn? LeCure?
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

    I don't think he's on the 40.

He's not. One of the Reds' writers speculated on Vall going to the 60-day disabled list.
