It has been suggested that Heisey can't hit much besides fastballs. Relievers in general (supposedly) throw a lot more fastballs than starters. So supposedly Heisey would hit better against relievers. I don't know if this is the case but it would be interesting to look at.
I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the Cards lost earlier today 7-3 to the Giants.
