    Tuesday 5/31/11 minor league updates

    Right-handed pitcher Jason Braun was moved up from Low-A Dayton to Double-A Carolina, as reported earlier today.

    Today the Mudcats will take on the Suns again for game two. Omar Poveda will take the mound for the home team. Today, Lee Tabor will get the nod in a bullpen day for the Mudcats.

    51 games into the season the Bats have made 55 transactions, 51 games into last season the Bats had made 38 transactions.

    Dayton takes a 1-0 lead on a Yorman Rodriguez single. Theo Bowe doubled to lead off the inning and a Hamilton bunt single moved him to third.

    Danny Dorn hit a 2 run shot to dead CF. Plated Mesoraco (single). Todd Frazier got picked off in Mesoraco's at bat.

    Tanner Robles gave up 5 runs in the 3rd. Dayton now down 5-2.
