No idea why, but he came out in a double switch to bring in Horst?!?

How is this on Dusty...... man if there is any thread where this team has lost than at least 1 person has not blamed Dusty...no matter how illogical....it would be like finding the Dead Sea scrolls.

I understand the princaples of the double switch but you don't take out your hottest hitter when you are going to have to score at least four runs just to extend the game.

How can anyone blame this loss on Baker. He brought in his best relievers. They failed. It's on them.

Somehow, I don't see how this double switch means anything.

Those Cardinals who can't field and have no chance win again while we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Hard to take.

The double switch was basically with Horst due up 2nd the Reds would have to pinch hit and then basically would have been down to using Reineke as the last pitcher in the bullpen.

This loss sucks but it's not any worse than Atlanta or Philadelphia last year. They'll bounce back but this team really needs Bailey, Volquez, and Chapman to get it going and stay healthy. The pitching just isn't good enough right now.
