Seven fans of the rock band Phish were in court Monday, jailed on drug charges after the band played Sunday night at the Riverbend Music Center in Anderson Township.

Drug agents claimed the five men and two women, whose addresses range from California to New York, possessed and sold psychedelic mushrooms, LSD, heroin and the drug Ecstasy.

I went and saw Phish a couple summers ago here in Chicago. The crowd there fit all the stereotypes you would imagine including the druggies. But the thing I found shocking was the people walking around the parking lots pre show advertising drugs. Like you or I might walk by casually asking to buy or sell tickets these people were walking around casually asking to buy or sell drugs. I was shocked they would be so open with it.
