    Friday, 6/10/11 minor league updates

Brent Clevlen has been moved from Triple-A Louisville to Double-A Carolina.

Update: Clevlen has been released. I assume they told him he was going down to Double-A and he refused it.

Should have been Negron down. Clevlen has been on a tear.

Clevlen asked for and granted release after being demoted to AA.

Mesoraco got a HR in the 3rd.

    4-3 Bats

    Clevlen's last 10 games:

    .290/.371/.581 - .952

I guess he figures he'll get picked by someone. Too bad he won't be helping Carolina.

Bats have 10 hits through 4.

Cozart, Sappelt and Mesoraco are all 2 for 3.

    Hermida is 2 for 2.

Francisco and Dorn each have a hit.

Chiefs tie it up in the 4th

Mesoraco just CRUSHED a triple off the wall to drive in 2 runs for the bats (Bats up 6-4). Stand up triple for our catcher, something Ramon could only dream about these days

Mes is a double away from the cycle by the way.

Mesoraco just hit a 2-run triple. He's 3-for-4 with a HR (#8), triple, and 3 RBI. Needs a double for the cycle.

Hey, did Mes just hit a triple?

Methinks the young man is ready for the bigs

Mesoraco is decimating AAA as a 22 year old catcher. Let that sink in.
