    My pleasure.

Corky didn't get his triple in the 11th.

He has 1 triple in his career.

Bats lost 8-7 in the 13th.

Back to back singles to start the inning, sac fly to end it.

Stalin (I always thought it was Starlin) Gerson had his first start tonight for Dayton, and it was a good one: 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K. Sharky Rogers and Drew Hayes completed the shutout, 3-0. Juan Duran, after striking out three times, drove in two during a 3-run eighth.

Bakersfield is up 5-2 and still batting in the fourth. Didi Gregorius, now batting .360 after missing April and most of May, is 3 for 3 with a SB, an RBI and two runs scored.

A tip of the hat to Denis Phipps...

He had an eight game hitting streak broken on Friday night in a rain shortened five inning game. He came back last night with a 2-5 performance at the plate. This pushes his BA to .240. The BA is nothing at all to get excited about but he has battled back from an extremely slow start.
