Agreed, and I hear as far as concerts go, Paul is the best at putting on a show.

I have seen him three times, once at Market Square in Indy in 90, once at Cleveland Municipal staduim in 90 and once at Riverfront stadium in 93. I just realized that all three of those venues are now gone, im 38 and feel ancient.

I saw him at (then) Riverfront Coliseum in 1976. It's still there. Wings over America tour.

Drove down from Dayton with Mrs. Tucker #1. Stayed in a downtown hotel. After getting the key to the room, a hooker asked me if I wanted company. Being the midwest boy I am, I said "no thank you ma'am".
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning

They define season ticket holders fairly broadly, so we have a Power Pack, so I think we're considered season ticket holders, so I'm probably going to try on Wednesday when they go on sale for season ticket holders. I've never had a chance to see any of The Beatles, so I think I'm going to really try to get tix. Ringo's only touring Europe this summer, otherwise I would have tried to see his show. May still if they tour the U.S. next summer. I always like his All Starrs line-ups.

Saw that one as well....incredible. I've seen him since, in the 90s and they were great shows but the one in 76 was amazing. General admission seats and I squirmed my way up to the front row on the left corner of the stage.

No brainer for me -- I love the Beatles, and a lot of Paul's solo work recently (especially his recent Firemen disc) has been fantastic.

Can't pass up a chance to see a living legend like this in concert, especially since he's getting older and you don't know how many more chances like this will come around.

Here's my Paul McCartney ticket strategy.

Just show up by yourself about an hour before show. There will be several dads with their two kids whose wife did not want to go who will happily sell his ticket to someone who he is not afraid to sit next to.

I got half price tickets twice this way. Great shows both times.
School's out. What did you expect?

This is a true statement; my wife did this as well. Also, I'm forcing my two teenage daughters to go. When they asked why, I said they'd thank me later. I also said something like, "You've seen Stonehenge, you've seen the library at Ephesus, and by god you're gonna see this legendary ancient relic too."
FIRE DUSTY Never mind. The man is clearly a genius.

Crap, it seems the show sold out while I was at work today. Tickets weren't even supposed to go on sale until Friday...

Plenty of scalpers selling tickets on ebay and Riverfront choice tickets at 4X the face value or more. I hate scalpers...
