Carolina gets doubled up 2-1. Quentin Berry doubled and scored the only run. Henry Rodriguez and Neftali Soto with a couple base knocks each. Travis Webb gave up three hits in one inning but kept Tennessee off the scoreboard. Boxberger struck out three in his only inning of work.
Dayton with the night off as there were no games scheduled in the Midwest League on Monday.
Bakersfield Blaze goes down in flames 3-0. Seven hits spread out evenly throughout the lineup - six singles and a double by Yasmani Grandal. All three Blaze pitchers used on Monday night sport 6+ ERAs.
