    ...New Guy Here...

...I tried to search for info without any luck, so be patient with me.

...My grandson and I are coming to the Reds/Yankee games next week. We would like to watch batting practice. What time does the gates open, and which gate do you go to watch batting practice???

...Sorry if this is the wrong board for this information.

It's fine to put these types of questions on this board, however I don't have an answer for your question.

    Welcome to the board

This link is an A-Z question guide. Lots of good information. Hope that helps.

You can go to www.cincinnatireds.com for more info.

Gates Open - Gates open 90 minutes prior to game time. Gate opening times may vary if a game is rescheduled.
Batting Practice - Batting practice begins two hours (2) before each home game. Times are approximate and subject to change without prior notification and at the discretion of either team.
If it is similar to down here in Houston you can go in any gate. You will miss part of the home team batting practice but will see all of the visitor batting practice. In Houston you can go anywhere in the park during BP as long as the people in those seats haven't shown up yet. You don't have to stay in your own seats.
