    Go see the before and after of him. The changes are legit. As for him being Pujols, well no, that isn't going to happen. He will never hit for the power Pujols does. But the guy is about 195 pounds of athletic muscle who swings with very bad intentions and has a short swing that makes a lot of contact. He can hit. No doubt about it.
    Doug - if you had such power, what one person already in the organization would you make the left fielder the rest of the way in Cincinnati?

    Did anyone get to actually see Lotzkar pitch? How were his mechanics? Was he still hyperabducting or whatever the term is?

    Tough to say. It would clearly be between Sappelt and Alonso for me. I think the two would post similar AVG/OBP but I think Alonso would eventually show a solid advantage in power. Sappelt clearly would get the advantage defensively. With that said, perhaps you just trade Alonso (who presumably with is pedigree has much more trade value) and start Sappelt and get something of need for Alonso.
