    Carolina at Jackson, Tennessee tonight. Klinker posted on his twitter account a few minutes ago that Chapman will get the start and he will follow.

    Last series before the AS break.

    Bakersfield had an afternoon game. They lost 4-1. No Grandal again.

    I can't believe he is still just 29. He is in his seventh ML organization. This time the D-backs.

    The DSL Reds swept a doubleheader. Player of the day appeared to be 18-year-old RH pitcher Pedro Damian: 4 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 7 K.

    Either Grandal is nursing an injury or he's been promoted to AA. Hopefully the latter.

    Carolina extends its winning streak to one, 7-0. It's the Mudcats' second shutout of the season, and both times Matt Klinker has been the winning pitcher. Assistance came this time from Chapman, James Adkins and Joseph.
