They do seem to be playing a little better lately. Campbell, Rodriguez, Skelton, Hamulack and Adkins have helped. Joseph's getting straightened out. Klinker's an asset. Webb's hot. Maybe there's some hope for their second half. A couple solid starting pitchers would go a long way. Any chance Hotchkiss will be back?
DB is confident of a second-half run. As for Hotchkiss, he should be back this year, I'm not sure when, but I would guess August at the latest. That is all assuming he has/has had no setbacks.
Well, Bell was confident when the roster was first announced . . . But I do think they're in much better shape now. I don't see them going over .500 as presently constituted, but I'd expect them to be competitive.
We shall see.
