I was at this game. Jose Acevedo made his major-league debut in this game, and gave up homers to Jeromy Burnitz and Jose Hernandez in the first inning. Trailing 10-4 going into the bottom of the ninth inning, the Reds were able to get the tying run to the plate, as with two outs Brady Clark hit a pinch-hit three-run homer and Alex Ochoa followed that up with a solo shot to cut the score to 10-8. Barry Larkin then walked, bringing Ken Griffey Jr. to the plate with the tying run. But Junior grounded back to the pitcher to end the game.
