Trevor Cahill for Wandy Rodriguez? Good Idea or Bad

Wandy is in the FA pool in our league, should I swap Trevor Cahill for him?

In my very rudimentary analysis of the two, I would tend to favor Rodriguez but if it's a keeper league or dynasty league, the scales tip to Cahill.

I do love Cahill's extreme groundball tendencies. Though I think in terms of pure stuff, Wandy is more trustworthy to this point, Cahill really helps himself keeping the ball down.

I do think Wandy has been a bit lucky to this point, to a small degree. He's got a very unsustainable strand rate, which is helping the ERA. My guess is he's due for a bit more of a rough patch in the weeks ahead.

So my opinion: I still probably favor Wandy, but if it's a league where there are keepers, stick with Cahill.

Thanks Brutus, kinda my thoughts on the issue. Plus Wandy is a second half pitcher.

Massaged the roster a bit, and got Wandy in at the expense of carrying an extra outfielder, but it has left my bench thin.

    Current Pitching staff.
    Grienke
    Sabathia
    Cahill
    Wandy
    Pineda
    Liriano
    Price
    Bard
    Crow
    Soria
    Nunez
    Farnsworth

Probably a good call. I really love that staff, especially with Liriano turning it around and Greinke due for a market correction.
