Geez...... talk about burying the lead....

    7:05 MT

Great Falls at Billings (Mugarian 0-0)

AZL Indians at AZL Reds (TBD). Reds should have advantage as Indians have long bus ride.

RHP Wes Mugarian is getting the Opening Night start for Billings.

Mugarian was a fifth-round draft choice by the Cincinnati Reds in 2010 out of a Pensacola, Fla., high school. Mugarian made five starts in the Arizona League last summer.

"He's solid," Kelly said of Mugarian. "He was a young high school kid that was drafted last year. He's got a strong arm."

Surprised there haven't been more draft signings with the short-season leagues starting tonight. I'd expect to see people like Cole Green and Ryan Wright signed by now.

Gotcha. Louisville is not still playing, are they?

Would like to see Rosa get signed and start playing as soon as possible in the AZL. From what I've read, he needs all the experience and seasoning he can get. Stephenson I understand will take some time, and that's OK- his arm could probably use the rest.

A subsequent single by Valaika is wiped away after Cozart ends the inning by hitting into a double play.
