Lehr comes on in the top of the 8th. Chapman looked good. I would imagine he is Cincy-bound.
    Leadoff walk.
    K.
Stolen base, error. Runner to third.
    Single scores runner 4-3.
2-base error by Sappelt makes it 5-3.
    Single makes in 6-3.
    Walk. 2 on, 1 out.
Third pitcher of the inning coming on.
    5-4-3 on the first pitch.

    Another disastrous 8th.

Stalin Gerson is pitching tonight for Billings. Has thrown two scoreless. Lohman is 2 for 2 and has driven in Dayne Read to put the Mustangs up 1-0.

    Frazier grounds to second.
    Alonso grounds to somebody.
    Valaika pops to center.

    6-3 after 8.

Columbus on pace to win 98 games.

Bats go quietly in the 9th. Pawsox knock them off by a 6-3 margin.

Now 4-0 Billings after a 3-run shot by C Yovan Gonzalez.

There's a Lucas O'Rear sighting (from the back, of course). He started for the AZL Reds and has pitched a scoreless first.

Josh Smith was the starting pitcher in the All-Star game for the East team. Really, really nice for a guy who was taken after the 20th round a year ago.

I could be wrong, but I look for Lohman to hit very well with Billings.

Gerson will be interesting to watch. More of a pitch to contact guy, not a big prospect, but at some point they might consider flipping Gerson and Robles if Robles is not able to get it going.

Robert Maddox is another guy I think is interesting on the Billings club. Also, the catcher there, Yovan Gonzalez, is a guy I have heard is a very good defender. Lets see how he hits. If they can get the Tarheel signed eventually, he will probably go there too.

You could also be right about Lohman. He's 3 for 3 tonight with a HR. And Gonzalez had 5 RBIs. It's 11-0 Billings in the sixth, behind Gerson.

    It's 17-1, Billings, and Junior Arias has one strange line: 5 AB, 3 R, 0 H, 0 BB, 1 RBI.

My man Carlos Sanchez hit a 3-run HR in the sixth and the AZL Reds scored 5 to pull even, 6-6.

Homer is still not right. If he goes back up and pitches like he has in his last 2 starts with Louisville, he's going to get shelled.

Brandon Dailey is 3 for 4 and the AZL Reds now lead 7-6 after seven.

Look at Leake's and Cueto's numbers down there.

I saw Cueto and Leake down here. What does that have to do with Homer not being right?

I saw two infield singles and two perfectly placed texas leaguer bloop hits and only one hard hit ball off of Homer Bailey last night. If he was walking guys and getting hit hard with extra base hits, then I'd be worried.
