Ball 1 was Strike 3 according to Gamecast.
They really need to start having computers call balls and strikes. Screw the human element.

67 pitches for Leake. He's not going last six innings at this rate.

Umpire calls the fourth pitch strike 3.
I know we lead the majors in runs scored (do we still??) but it's starting to look as though we average 15 runs per game in April and May and we're down to 1 in June.
Both strikes on Leake look off the plate on Gamecast.
A lot of hard hit balls off Freddy. The flood gates should open soon.
Leake flies out to center on essentially a batting practice fastball down the heart of the plate.
Lewis grounds out 6-3. That's 7 in a row for Garcia.
That was the case the last homestand vs. Dempster. The first two innings the Reds were hitting the ball and getting walks and getting HBP, and it didn't look like Dempster would be around long at all. The Reds just didn't do nearly enough damage when they could have.
Then he flips a switch and locks down the Reds the rest of the game, getting the W.
easy inning for Garcia
Maybe the Yankees will help the Reds out and start throwing the ball around the field like the Cubs?
Yanks grinding it out again. 8 pitches to Pena and counting.

Even the Yankees scrubs are putting up good at bats.
