    Billings loses 7-5 as a ninth-inning rally falls short. Buckley and Sammy Diaz had two hits, Lohman three.

    Waldrop had a hit (2B) and 2 RBI. I still think he is a level too high. But, he has the frame to develop into Jay Bruce light.

    There was an article posted at the time of the pick that said he was drafted to catch at least part time.

    He started 44 games for the Gophers this season, 37 at first base and seven behind the plate. Reportedly, the Reds are going to take a look at him as a catching prospect.
