    I hate to hear of his death. I always liked him as a broadcaster. He seems to have been a class act. R.I.P.

    I admit I didn't recall the name, but when I opened the article and saw the face, well I certainly remembered him. May you rest in peace Nick.

    A good announcer. Somebody who actually reported seriously on boxing and horse racing. My imediate reaction was that he and Fred Hickman had the last decent sports roundup show on ESPN, but then I was reminded that their show wasn't on ESPN.

    That's where I remember him form was the CNN sports highlight show that used be on at 11:30 pm every night. He and Hickman were very good on that show. A no nonsense 30 minutes of sports highlights. R.I.P Nick Charles.
