Keep those updates coming homey. Curious to hear how Soto, Grandal and a few others like Campbell and Boxberger (if he gets in the game) look. Carolina could have a decent second half now that they're healthy and have a real roster.
Bats Lineup @ Toledo tonight:
Cozart ss
Alonso lf
Hermida rf
Mesoraco c
Francisco 3b
Dorn 1b
Frazier dh
Valaika 2b
Negron cf
Chad Reineke on the bump for Louisville. Bats lead 3-2 in the top of the 3rd.
Bats now lead the Tigers AAA affiliate, Toledo Mudhens, 8-2 in the top 5th. Juan Francisco is 2-3 with a double and 2-run HR (his 8th of he year) and Danny Dorn hit his 13th HR of the season. Mesoraco is 1-3 with an rbi double and Cozart 1-3 at this point.
Denis Phipps is 4 for 4 tonight, a HR short of the cycle. Carolina's tied 4-4 in the seventh.
Bats won 9-2. Two hits apiece for Hermida, Mesoraco and Francisco. Jeremy Hermida is up to a .362 batting average.
Good start tonight for Mugarian: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 3 K. Billings is up 2-0 in the third. Nick O'Shea has a HR.
Neftali Soto hits a 2-run, no-out HR in the tenth to win it for Carolina, 6-4. They're playing much better. In spite of Donnie Joseph's troubles last night, the bullpen is looking decent and deep.
Dayton has scored two in the sixth to tie Bowling Green, 3-3. Kyle Lotzkar: 5 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 K. Hamilton and Lutz are 2 for 3.
19-year-old Abel de los Santos is starting tonight for the AZL Reds. He could be a pitcher of interest, I believe. Last year in the DSL: 9-1 with a 1.85 in 77.2 IP. Not a huge K guy (63), but the league hit .185 against him.
Dayton will take a 4-3 lead into the ninth. Luca Panerati pitched a scoreless 2.1 innings.
BTW: Duran left that game early.

Not a good first for de los Santos. It's 2-2.
Drew Hayes closes it out for the Dragons with 2 K.
The AZL Reds have a guy batting third and playing LF whom I've never heard of: Spencer Dickinson. He's 21. And he was just called out on strikes.
Brandon Dailey had a bunt single. Like.
Juan Perez is playing SS and hitting .583, with, of course, a massive sample size.
