Can you not make a good argument for a hard cap in MLB based on this mess? They were spending millions on guys like Manny Ramirez that they never even had. It's hard to believe an organization like that can be run into the ground so quickly.
I grew up in the 70s, and I still consider the Dodgers to be a a big rival, but I don't like to see them like this. MLB needs the Dodgers to be good.

Agreed. It's a dam shame. The league really has to take over that team. But then, they DO deserve some carma comeuppance for bolting Brooklyn!
