Cingrani (3rd round, highest signed draft choice so far) started for Billings tonight and went two scoreless innings with 4 K. Jensen, the UC guy, has thrown two scoreless. Billings leads 1-0.

Good game tonight.
Yonder and Mesoraco have been the most notable quiet bats during the recent cold stretch. Both had extra base hits tonight. Hopefully, it's a good sign. Cozart is also part of the swoon although he has been getting hits. His power numbers have dropped off the table.
Did anyone hear why Francisco was pulled from the lineup? At the time he was 2 for 2 with a HR off Minor, a tough lefty.
Alex Buchholz single brings in Brodie Greene, Bakersfield up 2-0 in the 3rd. Buchholz now with 2 RBI, he brought Stephen Hunt home in the 1st.
In other late action, 3rd round pick Tony Cingrani made his pro debut, getting the start for Billings tonight. In 2 innings he allowed 2 hits and struck out 4. Helena has taken a 3-2 lead in the 8th however. The AZL Reds jumped out to a 1-0 lead over the AZL Indians on a bases loaded walk, but have given up a run in the top of the 7th to tie the game.
The Bakersfield announcer just called the weather pleasant. It was supposed to be 104 degrees, but only got up to 97. That's an odd definition of pleasant.
Only item of interest in the 4th is Coddington gunning down a would-be base stealer at 2nd. Bakersfield still up 2-0.
Tim Crabbe's first pitch of the 5th gets crushed, now 2-1 Bakersfield.
Inland Empire went 1-2-3 after the homer, and Bakersfield followed suit. 2-1 after 5.
Elsewhere, a Drew Poulk double brings in Devin Lohman in the bottom of the 9th, and Billings is taking Helena to extra innings. Meanwhile the AZL Reds responded to by adding a pair of their own runs, and lead 3-1 in the 7th. Brandon Dailey had an RBI single, and Julio Morillo hit a sac fly after a wild pitch moved the lead runner to 3rd.
O'Rear finished with 6 K in four scoreless innings. The AZL Reds lead 3-1 after seven.
