Villarreal in early trouble. An error has helped to load the bases. One out on a force at home.

End of five innings, 2-0 Smokies. The Mudcats are on MiLB.TV. For whatever reason, I'm able to watch some of the game tonight. .I think I was blacked out the other night.

Nate Samson homers to put the Smokies up 3-0. If Carolina doesn't generate some offense this game is over.

Chris Rusin is done for Tennessee. One hit in six innings. Beyond solid.
