The Reds have had 1 at bat from a rookie (Todd Frazier)

By not breaking anyone in this year (Dusty & Walt actually think this club is a world series contender), the Reds could be coming north with as many as 7 rookies next spring.

Frazier
Alonzo
Cozart
Mesoraco
Fransico
Boxberger

I realize a couple have had some big league exposure, but all will qualify as rookies.

Why would the organization not look to the future, and get these kids up this year to start getting their feet wet? The best case scenario for this team is to back into a division title or wild card from a weak division...just to get knocked out in the first round.

Jockerty has had little to nothing to do with the talent level in the system. I keep hearing that Jockerty is a great GM. I don't see it. I see an old man way past his prime who is sitting on his hands doing nothing to help this team in either the short or long term.

Between Walt Jockerty & Dusty Baker, they are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory right before our eyes.
