Reds scored 790 runs last year as opposed to 736 for the Cardinals. This combined with the fact that ERA doesn't factor in unearned runs and the Reds defense being vastly better last year than the Cards and it becomes a lot clearer. Reds Errors for 2010 = 72!
Cards errors for 2010 = 99
That won you the division last year IMO. When teams don't screw up in the field, you will win ballgames.
I have no idea where I got those erroneous stats.I do remember being bewildered by them.Sorry guys.I must be slipping a little.

Well, we got blown out in losses and won the close ones last year.
The complete opposite of what we're doing this year.
