    Carolina was drilled, 13-2, in spite of not striking out all day.

    Dayton is up 1-0. Billy Hamilton singled and stole second base (his 61st of the year). He scored on a Dominic D'Anna single. Yorman Rodriguez is also back in the line up after missing 4 games.

    Dayton is trailing 7-1 in the 6th. Vidal is 2-2 with a double. D'Anna is 2-3 with an RBI.

    Nice start for Daryl Thompson in Louisville's 5-2 win: 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K. Boxberger gets his first save, entering with two out and two on.

    Dayton's six-game winning streak ends, 8-2. Vidal and D'Anna each had three hits; Vidal with two doubles.
