Cardinals burning through their bullpen in the first game
There are 3 guarantees in life; death, taxes, and the leadoff walk coming around to score.

If the score stays at 4-3 and Chapman holds the lead- does Dusty dare put Cordero out there again?

Yes (has to keep his confidence up) - but have Masset warming at the same time

You guys have much more confidence in Cordero than I do.

It just baffles me how this team fails to deliver with bases loaded...

The way things are going I'm about 100% sure those runs we left out there will come back to haunt us.

He's had a bad patch recently, but has been a pretty good closer most of the season. Five blown saves, yes, but Brian Wilson has four and CoCo's ERA is better than Wilson's.

But his "luck stats" have off the charts for the first half of the season. Those come back down to earth sooner or latter.

Left on base % (LOB) and batting average with balls in play BABIP.

LOB% 77% is normal. Coco had ~95%. Crazy!
BABIP .270 is normal. Coco had ~.170. Crazy!
