    I've been on vacation. :-)

The Knights tie it up 1-1 in the bottom of the inning. Going to the 8th.

Boxberger struck out the first two batters of the 7th for 5 in a row.

He did. But, he had a hamstring injury. Didn't sound good though, he had to be helped off the field.

Matt Lentz, the football player from Kentucky whom the Reds signed from a tryout camp, is in the lineup tonight for the AZL Reds, batting third as the DH.

Putting a guy in the 3 hole when he hasn't played organized baseball in 5 years is intriguing. He must have really impressed at the open tryout.

Wes Mugarian had a nice start for Billings, one run in five innings. The Mustangs trail 2-1.

Mudcats lost 4-3. They got screwed badly by the first base ump in the 8th. Three check swings in a row the umpire said he didn't go. The first time there was no question he went. The last two were iffy. Mudcats scored to make it 4-3 but Phipps grounded out with the bases loaded. Hope that's not too much.

Brodie Greene has two HR for Bakersfield, which leads 7-4 after five. Stephen Hunt is 3 for 3 with a 3B.
