Reds in Second Place Moving Toward 1st (In runners left on base).

The Reds went into tonight's game having left 694 runners on (2nd place). This is just ten shy of the Met's 704 (1st place). Tonight's game made that gap even shorter. The ducks are dying on the pond.

Cardinals give the Reds five outs in the 8th and still no runs as two more ducks die.

Thats because they don't have a legit bat outside of Joey Votto. They did the same thing leaving them loaded in the Milwaukee series. They have geriatric washed up Rolen, and smokin hot or ice cold Jay Bruce. They need a legit run producer to get up in the bases loaded less than 2 out situations or this pathetic trend will continue.

Dusty has to do a better job of keeping those bases unclogged & this won't happen!

The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

They don't have people who give quality ABs and put the ball in play enough.
Rounding third and heading for home...
