6 pitch inning for Garcia. I don't care if it's the 7-8-9 hitters -- that's still some horrible ABs.

Bruce is OPSing over .850 since the start of July. RF is not a mess to me.

Time to shed Lewis and Gomes.

    Bring up Alonso and Sappelt.

They can't do much worse in the outfield mix. They both are good OBP/contact guys which would add to this team.

I'll start a thread on this after the game.

I think the Reds will score some runs now, this will be the third time through the order and I've gotta feelin' they're 'bout to bust out.

IMO you can't blame this one on Homer, 6 innings on 68 pitches giving up only 3 hits and a walk.

Yes and it's amazing to me that Walt and Dusty apparently are blind to this.

Why is Theriot complaining? He should just look at who's coming up next for the Reds.

    That will calm him.

    Edit - forgot about Phillips.

Cozie's on with a single...a hit in every game so far. One out since Stubbs grounded to the 2nd baseman making his first out in his last 5 ABs.

meanwhile Theriot starts the Riot. after pulling his foot off the bag at second. Replay looks like he may have dragged his foot across it, but he bumped the ump in the ensuing argument, so he's gone. Maybe suspension coming.

So it's 1st & 2nd with one out for DatDude.

Whats the verdict? Was Cozart safe or out? Hard to tell.

Safe. Theriot's foot was well off the bag thanks to that throw.

BP strikes out on a wild pitch.
    2nd & 3rd for Gomes' upcoming strikeout.
