Bats got 3 in the 9th to take a 1 run lead.

Gil is on the hill to close. 1 out, 2 on. Yonder misplayed a ball for a double.

On the other hand, Carolina wins in the bottom of the ninth, 4-3, on a double by Kahaulelio and single by Henry Rodriguez.

Phipps went 3-4 and is now up to .316.

Edit: James Avery had an excellent start: 6.1 IP, 4 H, 0 R.

Phipps needs a promotion. Alonso to Cincy, Phipps to Louisville. Lewis to where ever he wants to go.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Dayton managed to score 10 runs on 10 singles to win 10-6. Somehow, Torreyes was 0-6. The mind is boggled.

Cingrani tried to extend into a fourth inning today, and it didn't go well. Ogden scored 5 to go up 5-0 on Billings.
