    Welcome to Night Vale

Anyone listen? I heard about this podcast on NPR a week ago, started listening from the beginning, and I'm addicted. For the uninitiated, this is a news broadcast from a fictional desert town where all conspiracy theories are real. The first episode concerns a new dog park, which neither dogs nor humans are allowed to enter. Hooded figures do walk through the park from time to time, but citizens are encouraged not to look at them for too long.

The show's hosted by an announcer named Cecil who seems to hover between promoting the inhuman city council's propaganda and voicing opinion and outrage (which earns him reeducation sessions).

A truly weird show, found just in time for Halloween listening.

I've listened to the first 4 episodes. Once I started understanding the vibe and sense of humor, I started liking it a lot more. It's such a great mix of creepy and funny.
