I like that signing. He's been good every time I've seen him play.

Nope...he turned around and signed with SF for 3 years. Sounds like he got an extra year and it also sounds like a D Bag move in the part of the agent.

I wish nothing but bad things upon him.

This reminds me of Warren Sapp in 2004. I'm bummed (though certainly not surprised), although not too much so because unlike in 2004, I don't expect much of this year's team.

He shouldn't have tweeted he was a Bengal and then signed with SF, but still...can you blame him for not coming to Cincy?

Apparently SF sent an email to every team looking to deal Taylor Mays. I would be very happy to see him in blue and white.

Living in the Buffalo market most Bills fans disliked Whitner a great deal. Never made any big plays and was very poor in pass coverage. Blessing in disguise as far as I am concerned. Buffalo didn't even make a very good effort to resign him and they have plenty of cap space. The FO in Buffalo was happy to let him walk.

Taylor Mays? I'm fine with him joining the Colts...but I don't want him anywhere near the Bengals. He's abysmal.

If he could be had cheap enough, I think he'd be a good high reward, low risk pickup as a backup S for the Colts.

If I were the Colts I'd deal for him and move him to LB. He's a potentially great fit as an OLB in a cover 2 scheme.

Didn't see it mentioned but the Redskins signed every Bengals fan's favorite kicker, Shayne Graham. He will compete with Graham Gano, who always makes me think of this guy:

He's nowhere near strong enough for that.

I didn't say he would be one right away, they would have to develop him in that spot.

I'm not going to get upset over Whitner taking his talents somewhere else (damn you Lebron for making that phrase hip). I loved Whitner at OSU, and was absolutely floored to see how bad he was in the pros. We aren't missing out on anything we don't already have. He's a non-impact player. The Niners can have him.
