Brandon Webb to have more surgery

If his career wasn't over, this might just go a long way towards ending it.

He's having surgery again on the shoulder. By the time he's back he could have missed 09, 10, 11, and most or all of 12.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Some confusion on the initial surgery diagnosis. Per Rotoworld:

ESPN's Buster Olney reports that Brandon Webb underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder Friday.
It was suspected that he'd undergo rotator cuff surgery, but it turns out, as Olney said, that he just needs to have the "delaminated part of his rotator cuff sewn together with a PRP injection." We would assume that means his recovery period would be drastically reduced, but he's still no safe bet to ever throw another pitch in a major league game.

Shoulder problems are still death to pitchers. Pray for Homer.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Whenever I see stuff on these guys, it reminds me of this thread and just really enforces that pitching health is such a crapshoot.

The 3 guys headlining that thread may be the 3 best pitchers in the majors that have been absolutely decimated by injury over the past 3 years or so. Wow.

edit - Santana has been good from 08-10, but things sure are looking bad now
