Louisville down early 1-0. Denis Phipps gets his first start in Louisville. He's 0-1 in the #2 spot.

Bats are a player short so I assume a move will be made after the game.

Middle of five the score is unchanged in Tennessee. Smokies continue to lead, 8-2. This is the rubber game of a five game series of which the Mudcats won the first two. Tennessee won the first half of this division.

Middle of six, Smokies continue to lead, 8-2. Carolina has been out hit 12-3. Kevin Rhoderick pitched a solid sixth for Tennessee after getting rocked by Carolina earlier in this series.

Not really many choices other than Castro.

Been in AA for what seems like forever. Plays 3 spots. Seems like a good fit.
If you can't be a good example... then you'll just have to be a horrible warning...

Pretty much the same can be said for Jake Kahaulelio. I'd love to see Jake get a call.

I'd almost bet everything on Castro. With Buchholz coming up from Bakersfield.

You're probably right. I recall Jake in Chattanooga when we were out there earlier this year...he gave a kid a bat over the dugout and the kid was blown away. I don't belive the kid had a clue. Jake just picked him out of the crowd and called him down. He gave him the bat. After the game Jake called the kid down and then signed the bat for him. The kid was awestruck. Love to see guys like him get a call to AAA.

Thanks! I just don't know the Carolina roster that well. Gets tough trying to keep up with 6 teams
