    Upcoming series vs Mets

Got a good chance to make it 4 in a row with Leake and Cueto making the next two starts, and maybe even sweep a series. Lets go Redlegs!!

    Leake (8-5) Dickey (4-8)

    Cueto (6-3) Niese (9-8)

    Arroyo (7-8) Pelfrey (5-9)

Watching tonight's game, I couldn't help but think the same thing. Really need to make a statement and sweep the Mets. Let's go Reds!

Hopefully they trade Beltran to the AL before tomorrow's game.

    Really?

If he didn't command top prospects in return, I think he could help us a lot for the rest of the season. If the asking price doesn't drop, however, it's probably not worth it.

Anything less than 3/4 would be brutally disappointing.

We just HAVE to take advantage of this long homestand. We are off to a good start, but it has to continue.

I think three out of four is a reasonable expectation, but the one I'm most concerned about is tonight. The next game is always the most important.
What if this is as good as it gets?

    A) No chance Beltran ends in Cincy, not one of his teams on the list he gave the Mets
    B) Watch out tonight with the H/H a knuckleballer could wreck havoc on us tonight

The Reds were a team on that list. I agree that the knuckleballer could be trouble, Rolen was the only Red that had seen Dickey before and was 5-9 with a homer, be nice to have him for tonight.

I love watching knuckleballers pitch, just not against the Reds. It's frustrating watching all those bad swings.

east coast teams and I think the Giants, plus he did agree to a couple of AL teams but would prefer to stay in the NL. ESPN reported the teams, and I didn't hear the Reds mentioned.

New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran has narrowed his wish list of future destinations to seven cities.

ESPN.com reported Sunday that Beltran has given the Mhttp://www.thedenverchannel.com/spor...62/detail.htmlets a list of seven National League teams to which he would prefer to be traded.

With eight NL teams still in contention for division titles, the Pittsburgh Pirates are considered out of the running.
