    Just because the Reds need a LF, it doesn't mean they don't also need pitching. I agree they need offense, but I haven't heard the names of any guys on the market that would help more than Jimenez would.

    The Reds need to bolster both their offense and their starting pitching in terms of competing in the playoffs. The offense needs help. The current starting pitching is good enough to win the Central. But it's not good enough to win in the playoffs.
