Uhhoh, did Rosa leave the game early today with AZL?

    Perez continues to hit!

Suns lead by a run. A really good start by Villarreal is wasted.

Adkins gives up a grand slam, Suns up 10-5. Headed to the bottom of the seventh. Being a doubleheader, this is the last inning.

Mudcats go quietly in the bottom of the seventh and lose 10-5 after leading 5-1. More of the same...

Johnson then Christiani have come on in relief and have allowed the game to get blown open.

9-3 Red wings in the 5th.

Buckley hits his third HR in two nights, his ninth overall. I believe he now leads the Pioneer League. Waldrop and Silva have triples and Billings is tied 4-4 after four. Guillon has walked five.

The starter for the DSL Reds today, Werleen (Little Willy) Taveras, threw five no-hit innings in a 5-4 victory.

Buckley's too good for Rookie League. He needs to be challenged. Problem is, Vidal is doing really well in Dayton and shouldn't be rushed.

They can't split 3B either, as the Dragons have two 1B currently doing just that. And well.

Ryan Wright has hit a three-run shot and Billings leads 7-5 in the sixth.

Yeah, I'd say that Vidal could be moved up, but they just signed that Jimenez character for Bakersfield, which also has Buchholz, who has been hitting well. (I know they want to keep that good nucleus together at Dayton, but Buckley would fit nicely into that group as well.) So I guess Buckley just has to tear up the Pioneer League for a while.
