Janish continues to pump up that OBP...takes one for the team.
Dontrelle singles to right. Janish to 3rd. No outs.
Stubbs grounds into a force out. Dontrelle out at 2nd. Janish scores. Stubbs to first. 3-1 Reds.

    Your BABIP just screams regression.

Great move by Walt. Get some value while he still can.

Yes I admit I've been quite lucky. Just ask the ladies

The Reds are really keeping Beltran busy in right tonight

Safe, but very close. Hard to tell in real time.

Yeah, definitely looked safe on the replay, but you can't really fault the ump for that one. Very close call.

They haven't had an easy job so far. Two really close plays. It just sucks that both went against the Reds.

It seems like umps don't realize how fast Stubbs is, and assume he's going to be out on pitch outs. That's the third pitch out that I've seen Stubbs beat, in which he was called out.
"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.

Just what the Reds need, unlucky calls.
