Albert Pujols. After the year he is having, he won't get $30MM from the Cardinals and someone else will pony up the money.
Prince Fielder. Too rich for the Brewers. They can get a lot more for the bucks he will cost.
Derrick Lee: He is a one shot trial for the Pirates.

Those are the only ones that come to mind.

Re: Which 1st basemen WON'T be with his present team next year?

Cordero, Renteria, Ramon Hernandez, Fred Lewis, Gomes gone to a savings of $18.875M.

Reds trade Votto and Corcino to the Blue Jays for Bautista and have him under contract through 2015 at $14M per season.

Reds sign either Pujols or Fielder to play 1B.

Reds send cash and Arroyo ($12M in '12, $11.5M in '13), and Bailey (arbitration eligible) to Astros for Wandy Rodriguez ($10.5M in '12, $13.5 in '13), signed through 2013. Payroll swap for 2 more years and Astros get the oft injured Bailey.

Reds trade Alonso, Stubbs, Wood, Volquez, Valaika, Heisey, Sappelt, Neftali Soto to the Dodgers for Clayton Kershaw and Matt Kemp. Dodgers get payroll reduction, 2 former #1 picks, 2 starting pitchers with major league experience, 3 outfielders, a 2B/SS with major league experience, and the improving Soto.

    Lineup:
CF Matt Kemp (arbitration - $15M)
    2B Brandon Phillips ($12M)
    1B Pujols or Fielder ($20M)
    LF Jose Bautista ($14M)
    RF Jay Bruce ($5.1M)
    C Hanigan ($2.1M)
    3B Rolen ($8.1M)
    SS Cozart ($.5M)

    Cueto ($5.4M)
Kershaw ($3.4M - sign him to a similar Cueto contract, he's eligible for arb first time)
    Leake (.5M)
    Wandy Rodriguez ($10.5M)
    Willis ($5M)

    Chapman ($4.7M)
    Ondrusek (.5M)
    Masset ($2M - arb eligible)
    Arredondo ($1M - arb eligible)
    Burton (.7M)
    Bray ($1M - arb eligible)
    LeCure ($.5M)

Cairo ($1M) can play infield backup
    Janish (.5M) can backup SS
Frazier (.5M) - can play LF or 3B
Francisco (.5M) - can play LF or 3B, lefthanded bat
    Mesoraco (.5M) - platoon catcher

    $115M payroll. No sweat.

Vottomatic, no offense, but I'm uber glad you're not the Reds GM.

Votto traded to the Blue Jays for Joey Bats which would answer our left field question. Yonder Alonso would then move to first. That's the appeal of this trade. I say let's keep Votto, if it aint broke, dont try to fix it. Let Alonso and Francisco split time at third like Rolen and Cairo do. Would free up veteran salaries that we could spend on pitching.
