    No Bruce - a wake-up call perhaps?

I would almost feel bad for them if it weren't for the fact that they beat us last night.

I really wonder what would happen if just once Dusty made up a totally different lineup?

I like the idea of Frazier in LF, but I was also hoping he'd get some starts at short, with Cozart out. Guess Dusty still has a man crush on Janish.(I know he isn't starting tonite, but)

Hernandez has caught Bailey 13 times with an ERA of nearly 8. Hannigan has caught him 30 games with an ERA of less than 4. Since Dusty puts such emphasis on past performances, this one is a no brainer right?

OT -- how bad are the Cubs? I'm watching them right now ---

The Pirate runner on 1st just faked stealing 2nd & the catcher threw the ball into CF because there was no one covering & then the batter cranked one out ---

At least we aren't Cub fans

I actually think the Cub fans are in a better situation then we are. They know they are no good and shouldn't be winning, and can see where and what needs to be changed, meanwhile we have the talent to be winning and are not and neither the manager nor GM really have any answers to what needs to be done to do what we should be doing and that is leading this division.

I guess I would disagree because of this one point -- The Cubs sell seats even with a bad team --- so the incentive to improve seems lost -- for like the last 103 years!

As an aside -- I collect old Baseball memorabilia and a few years ago I decided to sell at an auction my Cubs related stuff -- a 1908 Cubs World Series program + a schedule + a yearbook + a team photo postcard + a panaramic photo of the park & crowd at the world series -- The program had this tidbit -- it said the Tigers Rf looked like he was a young talent -- Cobb
