At the stretch, Bats and Yankees are locked at 2.

Maloney gave up the 2 in the 1st inning and has dealt since.

    Code:
Player IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA
    Maloney 6.0 4 2 2 0 5 1 3.80

Duran is freaking HUGE. How tall IS he now?

Horrible slide into 3rd. Just awkward.

There's your BB. Intentional walk to load 'em up.

For the third straight game, the Bats entered the bottom of the ninth leading 3 - 2. Jordan Smith (not Horst as shown on gameday) allowed the Yankees to get runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out, and somehow, miraculously, it did not become the 3rd straight walk-off loss. That was almost physically painful for me to listen to, but a huge, huge moral win.

Junior Arias homers in the second to put Billings up 2-0. Cingrani fanned the side in the first.

Arias got off to a slow start, but over the past two weeks has been red hot.

Is he in the dreaded inverted 'w' territory?

    Cingrani's finished: 4 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 8 K.

It's 3-1 Billings after six. Spencer Dickinson also homered. Ryan Wright is 2 for 2 with a double.

He still is, but he used to be the worst offender I have ever seen. Now its just merely iffy.
